You can always find hummus in my refrigerator because it is one of my all time favorite snacks. I usually grab a tub or two of organic hummus while I am at the grocery store and Roasted Red Pepper Hummus is always one of the flavors I grab. Recently my husband asked me how come I don’t just make my own hummus and I had to stop and think for a minute. I had no idea! I had never thought about making it myself.
His question started my hummus creation journey. I have since made a variety of different flavors and I have discovered that there is absolutely no limit to the kinds of hummus that you can make.
For a quick, no hassle red pepper hummus I use jarred organic roasted peppers. You can make your own roasted peppers for the recipe if you wish but I used store bought. For me personally, I think it is much simpler. I buy organically roasted peppers with Italian flavoring.
Pair this hummus with vegetables or crackers for a delicious anytime snack. My kids love it and I never have to worry about them filling up on junk when I have this hummus on hand.
